Sexual harassment and abuse are regularly downplayed and quickly dismissed in Malaysia. Starting from a young age, it is vital that Malaysians are educated on proper sex education. With the increased usage of social media and are heightened during the pandemic, it is becoming more apparent that sexual harassment and abuse towards children on school campuses remained an unresolved issue till today. At present, teenagers are advocating for themselves on social media resulting in more members of society being aware of this cause of concern.
The purpose of this project is to familiarise schoolchildren with body autonomy in a way that is digestible, entertaining whilst raising awareness of sexual harassment and abuse towards schoolchildren.
A Comic about CSA Awareness
Hey! What's Up With That? is an edutational comic (educational + entertaining) with the focus of teaching students the basics of body autonomy and Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) prevention education.
The comic contains both comic illustrations and informational spreads for readers, primarily school students, who may read the comic and receive information more effectively.
